Background
The Academic Enhancement Department under the Office of the President was established on August 14, 2013. The Department is responsible for promoting academic development and supporting teaching and learning processes in accordance with the University’s administrative policies. The primary purpose of the mission is to strengthen scientific and technological capacities so they become internationally recognized.
The Academic Enhancement Department is divided into four divisions:
1. Administration and Quality Division
Responsible for the management and coordination of administrative tasks, financial matters, accounting, procurement, human resources, quality assurance in education, and monitoring the division's operations. It also handles public relations, information dissemination, and activities related to academic promotion.
2. Academic Journal and Textbook Division
This division is responsible for producing and disseminating academic journals at both national and international levels, certifying textbook quality, developing and publishing textbooks, managing article databases, and book databases. It also focuses on promoting and developing academic excellence.
3. Information Systems Development Division
This division is dedicated to promoting and developing activities related to database and information systems in various areas, such as procurement, finance, accounting, budgeting, human resources, university public relations, and comprehensive information. It ensures that information is up-to-date and accessible for decision-makers.
4. STEM Education Center
The STEM Education Centre carries out a strategy for organizing and implementing STEM-related learning approach among the network of educational institutions. A unique project involves STEM prototype preparation in multimedia development, portraying KMUTNB’s identity where focus areas are specifically on robotics and Internet of Things. Effective STEM programs can enhance knowledge while enriching and empowering both teachers and students, whether they are associated with a conventional or vocational education program.

Duty
1. Promote and support academic development for the university's personnel.
2. Support the creation of national and international academic journals for the university.
3. Promote and support the development of textbooks within the university, in collaboration with internal departments.
4. Develop information and digital data management to support the university's core mission.
5. Support the promotion and development of STEM education in various departments, both within and outside the university.
